Goal Setting 101

Written by Steven D. Arecco

Before we get started I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the following:
For all your reasons in the world to set and achieve goals, please make sure that the pursuit of happiness is not attached to any of them. What I mean is, you have the power to choose at any given moment, “to be happy or not, and to what degree”. If you tell yourself that after you achieve a particular goal, than you will be happy, you are headed for a rude awakening. If you have a spouse or children then your responsibility to get your “ducks in a row” is even more crucial …Read more

30 tips to get the most out of The Landmark Forum and The Advanced Course

Written by Steven D. Arecco

Before I begin with my helpful hints, I’d like to tell you a bit about my experience with Landmark’s Forum & Advanced Courses. I took mine in 2014-2015 in NYC. I absolutely loved both courses. I went in with low expectations and a bit cynical and came out with way more insight into why I do & don’t do certain things. I was also taught how to chart a new course in order to live a happier, more abundant life! I was so impressed with both courses that I had my 8 year old daughter take “The Forum for Children”! I will post a full review in another article …Read more

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

Written by Steven D. Arecco

I am a firm believer in the sharing of knowledge and information. This article contains a culmination of years of research. It is in your best interest to take your time digesting it. Feel free to contact me if I can be of any further help. The phrase “Don’t sweat the small stuff””was made popular by author Richard Carlson; however it was Dr. Wayne Dyer that provided him with this little gem. What these two fine authors have in common is the ability to separate out the BIG STUFF (BIG PROBLEMS) from the small stuff (small problems). Their shared belief is that it is ALL SMALL STUFF! …Read more

Taming the Constant Chatter Inside Your Head

Written by Steven D. Arecco

How wonderful would it be to tame that voice inside your head! You know which voice I mean, the one that is constantly grabbing onto thoughts (mostly negative ones) and not letting go until they’re blown way out of proportion. Even if you are finally successful at removing the thought, there’s always another negative thought to take its place. And so the cycle continues…Many of you live a large portion of your lives in a fantasy world concocted by your own mind …Read more

There can never be World Peace without Inner Peace first

Written by Steven D. Arecco

A friend sent me an email regarding a Jewish woman that just before she jumped in front of a train, asked someone which direction was east. My friend explained to me, Jerusalem was east. Somehow knowing what she said just before she jumped, made it more personal for me. This prompted me to write this article. I know…there is a lot of unhappiness in the world. Let me rephrase that…There are a lot of people thinking unhappy thoughts in the world (HUGE distinction by the way). Unfortunately most people(probably 99%) don’t realize how much they manufacture and/or contribute …Read more

Million Dollar Motivation

Written by Steven D. Arecco

How many items do you have on your goal list that you have no intention of manifesting? If you are not quite sure which ones they are, take a look at the ones that have been there the longest and yield the least progress. It really comes down to commitment and intention or a lack there of. Just wanting to achieve something is not good enough. I am very good at achieving my goals, yet as I look back over the previous years of goals some seem to carry over …Read more
